Frequently Asked Questions:

What Is For Sale?

New and used CPAP machines, masks and equipment.

Do I Need An Rx?

Buyers must have an Rx on file before bidding on prescription items such as CPAP, APAP and BiPAP machines. Additionally, all Respironics and Resmed brand masks require a prescription.  We offer many easy ways to provide your prescription.

How Do I Buy?

To buy, you must place the highest bid on the product you would like. To do so, click into the product, click on 'Place Bid' and follow the simple steps to confirm and complete your bid.

Who sets the machine according to my prescription?

CPAP Mask Auction members agree to be held solely responsible for setting, according to their own prescription, any CPAP machine, BiPap or BiLevel machine, Auto-Adjusting CPAP machine, or any other type of prescribed respiratory equipment, that is purchased from other CPAP Mask Auction members, based on their own valid prescription.

However, if the seller is qualified to set the prescription equipment following all local, state, national, and federal laws, perhaps the buyer may be able to make some arrangement with the seller to have the machine set up according to the buyer's valid prescription before the items is shipped. Any such arrangements are strictly between the seller and the buyer.

Someone won the item I listed, what steps do I take next?

Congratulations!

Typically, when someone wins your auction item, you would send them an email and arrange for payment and communicate with the buyer until both of you have fulfilled the transaction requirements that were agreed upon.

After you have received payment, it is generally a polite idea to let the buyer know once you have shipped the item, and provide a tracking number if available.

Nobody won the item I listed, what are my options?

You may relist the item again if the auction ends without a winner.

You may want to consider making some changes in your relisting to make your item more attractive to potential buyers. Perhaps the starting or reserve price was too high, or maybe there was not enough detail, or you might consider offering other payment or shipping options and/or other changes to make the item more appealing. Perhaps you need to include some of your own pictures of the item, or better pictures.
